The inviting private pool is surrounded by a stone terrace with plenty of sunbeds for soaking up the summer sun. 2 steps lead up to a covered terrace with a dining table and chairs overlooking the pool. This terrace wraps round the side of the villa, where there is a further seating area with lovely views of the surrounding countryside and over the Ionian Sea. A perfect spot for relaxing with a glass of wine. There is also a portable BBQ for those alfresco meals.
The villa is accessed from a country lane, with ample off-road parking for 2 hire cars in a tree- shaded area. A wooden gate leads past the pool area, to the side of the villa where there are 2 steps up to the front door.
The open plan kitchen, living and dining room has a bright and airy feel with 2 sets of patio doors opening from the lounge on to the covered terrace. The living room also has wooden beamed ceilings adding character to the space, which is well furnished with 2 sofas, flat screen TV and a feature fireplace. A dining table and chairs separates the living area from the spacious and fully equipped kitchen.
There is 1 double bedroom on the ground floor with a small private balcony with sea views, as well as a bathroom. On the first floor there is a further double bedroom and a twin room, both with private balconies also looking out to sea. These rooms have use of a shared bathroom. All the bedrooms are bright and pleasantly furnished.

Villa Andon is a detached property with a fabulous countryside setting in Xirocastelo, ideally located to explore the surrounding resorts and beaches. The resort of Argasi is a 5 minute drive away, where you will find a number of shops, boutiques and restaurants. To the south is the beautiful Vasilikos Peninsula, a 10 minute drive away, with plentiful sandy beaches. The island’s capital, Zante Town, can also easily be reached within a 15 minute drive.
Explore the vibrant shopping scene in the nearby Argasi resort, where a plethora of souvenir shops lines the main street and side roads. Zante Town further extends your shopping options, offering a diverse range from jewelry and clothing to unique gifts and souvenirs. Venture into the mountains for an enriching drive to the craft village of Volimes, where you can barter for local crafts and souvenirs, including delightful herbs and honey produced in Zante. A mini-market, less than a 5-minute drive from Villa Andon, caters to daily essentials, while a larger supermarket awaits just a 10-minute drive away.
Xirocastelo serves as an excellent hub for exploring Zante’s diverse dining offerings. Fine dining establishments have flourished around Argasi, providing spectacular sea views for an exquisite dining experience. For a more traditional taste, venture south along the scenic Vasilikos Peninsula or head north to Zante Town. Cap off your evenings in the lively bars of Argasi or Zante Town.
Xirocastelo acts as the gateway to the renowned Vasilikos Peninsula, renowned for its pine forests and sandy beaches. Follow the coastal road through shady pine forests to discover beautiful sandy beaches such as Kaminia, Porto Zorro, Dafni, Porto Roma, and Gerakas – each with its unique charm. Dafni and Gerakas beaches, being nesting sites for Loggerhead Turtles, remain pristine and unspoiled.
